Advanced Contemporary Funeral Designs Short Course
Funeral and sympathy flowers are an integral part of the funeral process and have been a memorial tradition throughout history. Creating an appropriate floral arrangement can communicate a very personal and symbolic message for those grieving. The floral arrangement at a funeral will express sympathy to the family in a comforting and compassionate way.
This one day funeral design course will have a contemporary approach and will be practical and hands on, offering progression in funeral floral techniques. Developing skills in more advanced pieces of floral design, building your skill base, speed and conceptual design ability.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This course takes place on Tuesday 19th March 2019, from 5.30pm - 9.00pm.
The course is held at The Flower Studio at our Town Centre Campus, WA10 1PP.
What will I study?
During this one day course you will learn new techniques to create diverse funeral designs.
You will explore funeral floristry techniques and designs including:
•Constructing a diverse biodegradable tribute.
•Construct a contemporary funeral tribute.
•Identify different techniques for funeral work.
You will study alongside like-minded people in classes delivered by friendly supportive tutors.
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
Ideally, you need to have some previous experience of floristry, either in industry or through undertaking a previous course, however, this is not essential.
What are the course fees?
The cost of the course is £60.00 and this includes tuition and the supply of all basic materials. You are welcome to provide your own decorations to coincide with the colour theme you have chosen.
What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?
After completing this course you may wish to complete the Advanced Contemporary Wedding Designs Short Course or progress onto one of our full or part-time nationally recognised qualifications in floristry.
