Beauty Pamper Short Course - Tan, Nails and Lashes


Paying to get your tan, nails and lashes done before that big night out or event you are planning to attend can prove costly, especially if you get it done several times over the course of the year.

Our short beauty pamper course will develop your skills in applying tan, gel polish nails and tanning treatments to yourself, friends, family and clients providing you with an understanding of the theory and application of these treatments, saving you money and time.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course has various start dates. You will attend college for one evening per week for three weeks from 5.30pm - 8.30pm.

What will I study?

The course will prepare you to set up for treatment, consult with a client, perform a treatment and provide homecare and after care advice.

The session will consist of theory and demonstration followed by application. You will work in pairs practicing your skills on each other or you can supply your own model if you prefer.

How is it assessed?

There is no formal assessment as part of this course. You will be given feedback based on your progress with suggestions and guidance for areas for improvement.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course- the course is suitable for all levels. As with all our leisure courses the main emphasis is to come and enjoy.

Health and Safety

All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We cannot admit you in to salon without the proper foot wear. We also ask for you to wear black trousers/skirt and a black top-we are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing. Long hair must be tied back in the salon. All course participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing the course.

Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy, learning difficulties etc.

Please be aware that a patch test will required at least 24-48 hours prior to application of treatment if you think you and/or your client made may be very product sensitive.

What are the course fees?

The total cost of this course is £100. All products, tools and equipment are included in the price.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon successful completion of this course, you may wish to attend one of the other many short leisure courses offered, including the Semi-Permanent Eyelashes course or Short course in Gel Polish Nails.
