Cake Decoration, Sugar and Spice, Let's Royal Ice
This course will help you to create cake decoration masterpieces that even Her Majesty, The Queen would be impressed by!
This course is ideal for those who are interested in cake decoration and who have previously completed the cake decoration course.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This course will commence on Thursday 9th January 2020. You will attend College for four weeks, every Thursday evening, from 6.00pm - 9.00pm.
This course takes place at St Helens College, Town Centre Campus, St Helens, WA10 1PP.
What will I study?
Using Royal and fondant icing, you will learn more in depth the intricacies of piping and creating a medley of fine intricate finishes.
Not only will you learn tricks of the trade but the course will also encourage you to develop your creative side as you adapt your skills to suit every occasion such as birthdays, Christmas or weddings.
How is it assessed?
There is no formal assessment. The course is aimed to increase your own knowledge of the subject matter.
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
There are no formal entry requirements, as with all of our leisure cookery courses, the main emphasis is to come along and enjoy. The course is suitable for all levels of ability.
You will need to wear strong, flat sensible shoes and bring along an apron, tea towel, and an oven glove.
Please bring along a container to take what you have made home with you.
What are the course fees?
The total cost of the course is £120. The course price is inclusive of all of the ingredients that you will need for each session. You can take home your creations to enjoy.
What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?
You may progress on to our other Colours Cookery School courses or alternatively you may wish to pursue an accredited qualification in this subject which will allow you to practice your skills in the industry.
