Christmas Floral Workshop
This course is suitable for students aged 19 and over.
Get in the festive spirit with this fun, leisure course. Designed for those who may enjoy arts and crafts and wish to create unique floral displays for over the festive period, the workshop is suitable for absolute beginners who wish to try a new hobby or for those already familiar with working with flowers and/or foliage.
Create beautiful displays for your friends, family and the home this Christmas. Designs and colours can be tailored to suit your own colour schemes and themes.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This course has various start dates, with the course starting on:
- Wednesday 2nd December 2020
- Thursday 3rd December 2020
You will attend college for one evening a week, for three weeks, from 6.00pm - 9.00pm.
The course will be held in The Flower Studio at St Helens College, Town Centre Campus.
What will I study?
This short, three week leisure course will help you to create fireplace arrangements and a variety of festive table centrepieces. Designs will be both modern and traditional.
All basic tools and equipment are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own decorations to incorporate into designs.
You will study alongside like-minded people in classes delivered by friendly supportive tutors.
How is it assessed?
There is no assessment involved in this course. As with all of our leisure courses the main emphasis is to come along and enjoy!
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
There are no formal entry requirements - this course is suitable for all levels.
What are the course fees?
The cost of the course is £60.00 and this includes tuition and the supply of all basic materials. You are welcome to provide your own decorations to coincide with the colour theme you have chosen for the home.
