Cocktail MasterclassYou might already be an expert at drinking cocktails, but wouldn't it be great if you could craft some concoctions of your own? Now you can learn to mix, muddle and mash at our Cocktail Masterclass.
You'll discover the many different styles of cocktail from the traditional to trendy new cocktails that have come into fashion in the recent years.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This course will commence on Wednesday 27th February 2019. You will attend for one week from 7.00pm - 9.00pm.
The course takes place at St Helens College, Town Centre Campus, St Helens WA10 1PP.
What will I study?
We'll show you how to mix crowd-pleasing cocktails like a pro. Our expert mixologist will teach you cocktail history, as well as how to make, shake (and of course taste!) your selection of cocktails.
The range of cocktails sampled and made will be from spirit bases such as gin, whisky, rum and vodka as well liquors, mixers and fruits.
It's a great way to meet new people who share your passion for cocktails.
How is it assessed?
There is no formal assessment. You will be given feedback based on your progress with suggestions and guidance for areas for improvement.
As with all our leisure courses the main emphasis is to come along and enjoy the course.
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
There are no formal entry requirements.
You will need to be at least 18 years old to participate in this course.
What are the course fees?
The total cost of this course is £30. The course price is inclusive of all ingredients you will need at the session.
What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?
Upon completion, you will have developed knowledge, skills and ideas to produce a range of delicious cocktails.
