First Aid for Dogs
This first aid course is perfect for dog owners and canine professionals. It is aimed at keeping our four-legged friends safe and healthy in case of medical emergencies.
This course will consist of theory and practical work to enable students to gain a better understanding of the different subjects covered.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This one day course has various start dates and times throughout the year.
The course takes place at St Helens College, STEM Centre Campus, St Helens, WA9 1TT.
What will I study?
Whether you are; a dog lover, dog owner or dog professional, learn basic lifesaving and first aid techniques for canines.
The course will cover:
- Managing first aid situations
- Dealing with specific conditions
- Bandaging techniques
How is it assessed?
The aim of the course is to increase your own knowledge of the subject matter so there will be no formal assessment. A College participation certificate will be issued for those that attend.
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
You do not need any formal qualifications, just passion and a commitment to your studies.
What are the course fees?
The cost of the course is £45.00.
