This course is designed to enable students to gain knowledge and skills for customer-facing roles, to provide an effective customer service and to deal with challenging situations.

Distance learning allows you to study wherever you are, arranging your studies around your work or family life. You learn using study materials and online learning resources but you can also connect with other students on your course.

This flexible and comprehensive course requires no prior knowledge and will support you in preparing for further education and new job prospects whilst expanding your understanding of Customer Service.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course has flexible starts dates and should take approximately one academic year to complete.

The convenience of the course allows you to learn at your own pace. It is estimated to take up to 135 study hours to complete.

Access to a computer, email and the internet is vital as all studying will be completed online.

What will I study?

This qualification provides the underpinning knowledge required by employees to work in a range of customer service roles

There are three mandatory units that need to be completed:
•Understanding the Organisation
•Prepare to Deliver Excellent Customer Service
•Communication in the Customer Service Role

How is it assessed?

This is an online distance learning course which is assessed through a series of short answer questions and with no formal exams.

Full tutor support will be provided by the College throughout the course and you will be able to contact your tutor via telephone and email.

You will complete the course on an interactive, online learning platform and upon successful completion you will be awarded with a nationally recognised qualification and a certificate of achievement by NCFE.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

No previous qualifications are necessary, although some basic computer skills are required.

This course is suitable for anyone who is already working in Customer Service, looking to secure a role in this industry or wishing to progress onto further education.

What are the course fees?
